Peter is a founding board member of Sustainable Energy Hawai‘i.

He has 40 years of experience in media, advertising, videography, and marketing. As former Exec. VP at Technicolor, he designed and built their first commercial digital motion picture mastering lab, playing a prominent role in fostering the age of non-film, digital entertainment production and distribution.

Peter has also studied the geopolitical state of global energy trends and is committed to fostering a transition from an fossil fuel based economy to one that is fueled by long-term, renewable sources of energy. 

In addition to serving as treasurer on Sustainable Energy Hawaii’s board of directors, Peter currently serves one of the 3-member leadership team for Geothermal Rising’s Hawaii Regional Interest Group.

Peter has previously served as a board member of the Laupahoehoe Community Charter School, volunteered his creative services to support UHH Robotic Mining Competition, UHH CTAHR Komohana Research Center, and local astronomy community outreach.

Peter lives in Pepe‘ekeo on the Big Island.
